I love working as a productions take me to Chicago, and I’ve built up quite a number of clients based there. Ultimately I believe my job as a Sound Recordist is all about capturing performances; Whether that’s a documentary interview, comedian on stage, a musical performance, or actors in a narrative film…..it’s all about capturing those moments.
Before coming into the world of video production I initially got my start in a commercial recording studio producing music and doing audio post-production. This experience still shapes the way I approach audio today. Now having more than a decade of professional experience as a sound engineer, I ensure the job gets done right the first time. I love working as production sound recordist in Chicago, and have quite a number of clients based there. I’m based in Cleveland, and often get traveled in for shoots that have atypical requirements or simply need someone they can count on. When working as a sound recordist or production mixer in Chicago, I must be considered an out of town hire, and will not work as a local.
