I’m Henri Rapp, a production sound mixer for TV, film & commercial video production. Working as a production sound recordist in Columbus Ohio is a short 2 hours from my local production city of Cleveland. Ultimately I believe my job as a Sound Recordist is all about capturing performances; Whether that’s a documentary interview, comedian on stage, a musical performance, or actors in a narrative film…..it’s all about capturing those moments.
Prior to becoming a production sound mixer I came from the recording studio world where I produced music and did audio post-production. This experience early on in my career still fundamentally shapes the way I approach recording sound today, especially for shoots with atypical content. With more than a decade of experience, I have knowledge & equipment to deliver high quality audio every time. Knowing not only what needs to be captured, but how to best do so; I keep a sharp ear out for details that could cause problems down the line in post-production.
